Every City Has a Room.
Pilot — New Orleans, 2026
Full pilot coming September 2026
The Show
Frequencity travels the world to find the rooms where culture actually lives — not the famous ones, the real ones. Sweat-drenched basements in Berlin. Century-old jazz halls in New Orleans. Hillside sound systems in Kingston. Every city has one.
Each episode follows sound through a city — through the people who built the scene, the venues that held it, and the nights that defined it. Part travel show, part live performance, part portrait. Think Anthony Bourdain's curiosity meets the chaos of a warehouse party.
The pilot shoots in New Orleans, April 2026. The 25th Annual Gay Easter Parade, a custom sound trike built by one man over years, and the bar that holds the whole community together at the end of the night. That's where we start.
